Once again, ask for your help, and I thank you in advance. What do those 5 possibilities mean? Which one should I download? Is the driver that I must download for the aforementioned programming tested? This driver offers five possibilities (which create confusion): All content, product, Downloads, knowledge base and community. The content of this driver, is what will allow me a really wide 'profile programming'. Of the "X52 Pro Flight Control System" driver. I have not received the DVD, which I suppose would have the content Saitek Smart Technology (SST) If I am wrong in this exhibition, please tell me. I had not thought too much about this inconvenience that limits the possibilities of this joystick so much that, for example, it does not allow me, in a normal flight, to go from an exterior view of the aircraft, to an interior (in the cockpit) directly from the joystick controls, and I have to press the # 2 key on the keyboard. Of course, only this configuration for a joystick of enormous benefits and possibilities, would be underestimate, and this is unreasonable. The joystick properties for changing the LED's and MFD still crashed no matter when I plugged the joystick in, but as long as I did not try to change anything, Win7 would still work, until I try to shut down.Already in my possession the Saitek X52 Pro, I did not have any special effort for its normal configuration, according to the 'Controller Setup' page of FS 2.

I also found that if I plugged the joystick in after booting, waited for it to show the joystick is active, and then unplugged it and attempted a shut down, the system would still hang on the shutting down screen and would require a power cycle to restart it, but then it would reboot normally.

This same issue also happens even if the drivers are not installed, I was hoping maybe windows had generic drivers to at least get it working, but that did not help either. No matter if it was 2.0 or 3.0 the results were the same, if I left the joystick connected, I get crash on start up, hang on shutdown, if I unplug joystick, boots and shuts down normally.

I tried and deleted the driver install 4 times, using both USB 2.0 and 3.0 on the motherboard itself, and then again using the same connections on the top of my computer. I hate to have to buy a new Joystick, but unless I can figure what is causing this, I may not have any other choice.

None of my other USB devices have any issues, and I cannot find anything on the internet that explains why this is happening or how to fix it. If I leave the X52 Pro connected while it reboots, it hangs right when the Welcome screen should appear and I get a black screen and eventually my Monitor flashes that it has lost signal? If I remove the joystick USB connection, windows will boot up normally, but when I reconnect the joystick, when shutting down, it hangs on the shutdown screen and freezes? Once done, the Joystick appears in the Device controllers, but when I try to adjust the LED or MFD settings, the program shows its stopped responding and Win7 locks up and I have to manually power off the computer to reset it. I have a new build with Windows 7 64bit and when I try to install the drivers for my Saitek X52 Pro Joystick system and plug in the USB connection, the install either crashes or takes 10 min to install.
